Bethune-Cookman freshman sprinter Tristie Johnson made her way to the World University Games medal stand on Friday (July 12), after anchoring the USA Track & Field 4 x 100m Relay to a second place finish at Kazan’s Central Stadium.
Gator hurdler Eddie Lovett (West Palm Beach, Fla.) continued his stellar season with a victory in the men’s 110-meter hurdles. Lovett switched his allegiance to the U.S. Virgin Islands earlier this year but competed for the United States in Kazan.
